What was Mike Vrabel sniffing?
What on Earth was in that water bottle that Mike Vrabel had?

At one point in the first half, the cameras cut to the Patriots’ sideline and caught Mike Vrabel doing something weird.

While talking about the key moments of the game, cameras show the Patriots’ head coach sniffing from a bottle.
Vrabel holds the bottle to his nose, takes a big whiff, moves it, brings it back, and takes another one. More than likely, it was smelling salts.
Players tend to crack open multiple single-use ammonia capsules and drop them inside an empty bottle. The concentrated ammonia gas pools inside the bottle. Consequently, when opened, it delivered an intense, burning blast that triggers the nervous system’s fight-or-flight response.
After a rough start to the season, Vrabel has led the Patriots to three straight victories to get them into second place in the AFC East. Working against them tonight is the Bears being 3-point home favorites and currently leading as of this writing.
